Media Club Students at Lajee Center Organize a Cultural Ramadan Contest in Aida Camp

Two students from the Media Club at Lajee Center organized a cultural Ramadan contest in the streets and alleys of Aida Camp, where they asked a series of cultural and religious questions to local residents and passersby, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.

The contest was prepared in collaboration with the coordinator of the Media and Arts Unit at the center, who provided guidance and support to the students throughout the preparation phase — from selecting questions to planning the presentation style and audience interaction.

This initiative is part of the practical training activities of the Media Club, aimed at sharpening students’ skills in content preparation, public presentation, and fieldwork, while also boosting their confidence.

Cash prizes were awarded on the spot to participants, adding a social and humanitarian dimension to the initiative. The activity helped spread a positive Ramadan spirit and contributed — even in a symbolic way — to easing the economic pressures faced by many families in the camp.
