Environmental Club Continues Its Creativity in Recycling and Environmental Awareness
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance environmental awareness and promote recycling, the Environmental Club carried out a series of innovative activities on Fridays throughout this month. These initiatives aimed to recycle used materials and transform them into useful and aesthetically pleasing environmental elements.
Recycling Tires and Plastic to Create Green Spaces
Participants engaged in recycling used car tires by cutting them into semi-circular shapes, filling them with soil, and painting them in bright colors such as green and purple. They then planted various types of flowers in them before hanging them on the stairwell wall, adding a decorative and eco-friendly touch to the space. The activities also included recycling plastic bottles, where three layers of bottles were stacked on top of each other, secured with a strong rope, and planted with flowers before being hung on the stairwell wall. This initiative aimed to promote vertical gardening and maximize the use of available spaces in an eco-friendly manner.
Environmental Awareness Through Presentations
In addition to the recycling activities, participants were assigned to prepare and present educational topics on various environmental issues. They discussed subjects such as types of pollution and their effects, as well as the importance of afforestation in environmental preservation.
These presentations were conducted among participants to enhance their public speaking and communication skills, while also spreading environmental knowledge in an interactive and engaging way.
The Environmental Club’s Ongoing Mission
The Environmental Club continues to implement similar activities to promote sustainability, increase awareness of the importance of recycling, sustainable agriculture, and waste reduction, and contribute to a cleaner and more beautiful environment for the community.
