Lajee Center Concludes Training of Trainers (TOT) Course by Empowering Staff and Enhancing Their Training Skills
Lajee Center in Aida Camp has concluded an intensive four-day training course titled “Training of Trainers (TOT)”, with the participation of 10 staff members from various units of the center. The course is part of the center’s ongoing efforts to develop the skills of its staff and enhance their ability to convey knowledge and share expertise both within the institution and beyond.
The course was delivered by trainer Mr. Riyad Mustafa, and focused on equipping participants with the foundations of training work — starting from designing training sessions and formulating objectives, to presentation skills, engagement with trainees, and methods of evaluation and follow-up.
The course aimed to empower employees to effectively transfer their knowledge and expertise, and to qualify them to deliver future trainings both inside and outside the center, in a way that benefits the local community and strengthens the capacity of the center’s team.
The training relied on a variety of interactive and participatory methods, enhancing the effectiveness of learning and encouraging critical thinking and teamwork. The course also addressed different types of trainees and how to engage with them, ensuring a balanced and inclusive training environment.
On the final day, participants delivered practical presentations through which they applied what they had learned. The presentations covered topics such as time management, emotional intelligence, and decision-making under pressure, among other practical skills that contribute to professional development and self-confidence.
Lajee Center affirmed that this course is part of its vision to build a professional team capable of delivering knowledge and contributing to community empowerment through training, emphasizing that such programs open up new opportunities for staff to play a more impactful role in serving the camp and the wider community.
